Membership

Prospective members must be proposed for Neurosurgical Society of America (NSA) by an existing NSA Member.
In addition, prospective members must:

Attend at least one annual meeting prior to proposal for membership
Attend three meetings and present at least one paper at a meeting before being voted on for membership
Be under age 49 at time of initial proposal
Have one proposer and two sponsors (active or senior members) for a total of three letters of recommendation
Be ABNS certified or equivalent (e.g. FRCS)

The process for membership application includes submission of the application form, a digital photo, and a curriculum vitae to the Membership Committee Chair.
